Renter’s Tower

This weekend I picked up one of those roof tripod things from a ham buddy of mine, and subsequently went to the hardware store to get some 2x4s for the base, and a 10′ piece of steel conduit pipe. After assembling everything I’ve created what I like to call the “Renter’s Tower.”

Granted, it’s not very high, about 12.5′ from the ground to the top, but it’s better than on the ground, and easier to mount an antenna to than a tree. So I’m pretty pleased.

Here’s a couple photos!
