I recently felt the urge to try my hand at some stained glass work. I remember my mom doing it when I was a kid, and recall having pieces on display in the windows in our home. Particularly I remember going to the glass supply store and looking at all the varied and beautiful patterns and colors of glass.
Fortunately it seems there’s a glass store nearby, so I came up with some small patterns, grabbed some grinding/cutting supplies, and some glass.
Definitely feel like all of my electronics soldering experience helped, but stained glass does require some different techniques. Overall, I’m quite happy with how my experiments came out, and may revisit some more stained glass in the future.
