{"id":1737,"date":"2013-12-15T19:58:07","date_gmt":"2013-12-16T03:58:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/digitalnigel.com\/wordpress\/?p=1737"},"modified":"2013-12-15T19:58:07","modified_gmt":"2013-12-16T03:58:07","slug":"learning-to-lathe","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/digitalnigel.com\/wordpress\/?p=1737","title":{"rendered":"Learning to Lathe"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>So, I got a chance this evening to play a bit with the mini lathe I got, and grabbed a scrap of brass tube, and a stainless steel bolt with a stuck nut that I had broken off and started playing with machining them.<\/p>\n<p>Here&#8217;s a photo of the results from the evening. The brass tube had the outside turned, the ends faced, and the edges chamfered a bit.
